While traveling thru DeKalb Illinois one Sunday I saw a storm approaching. As it appeared to grow in size and strength I pulled off the road, alongside a cornfield, and watched in amazement as I set my tripod up. I tried to capture it's magnitude as it grew to rather massive proportions.

Tripod? Tripod??? What's that? Most of mine are stomp-on-the-brakes, drop-the-passenger-window, and one-handed-hail-mary-shots. LOL :))
Sue Stefanowicz replied:
Too funny Claude! But so true - been there, done that... all too often. That's usually about all we have time for!

My kinda photo! I've gotten some of my best storm/weather pix driving home through DeKalb Co. :))
Sue Stefanowicz replied:
Well, a couple photographers pulled off the road, tripods in tow... maybe you were one of 'em! ;-) Thank you for the comment!
